Depression feels like always being tired, no matter how much you sleep. Your entire body completely zapped of energy, leaving you jaded, weary, and a shell of who you used to be.
Depression is camouflaging the pain with smiles and laughs – keeping it all together until you get a moment of silence in the shower and then it all comes out like a waterfall flowing, hitting you until you collapse. And then you hold yourself until the pain starts to escape.
And for just a moment – you feel relieved.
