It’s true what they say that when you become a mom, you become more emotional. Maybe it’s the hormones, but a lot of it may be contributed to the completely new life that being a mom brings. For one, you see moms in a different light that you are one, too. You learn to appreciate all the hard work, sacrifices, and triumphs that make up motherhood and parenting. For me, some songs began to have meaning in my life since becoming a mom.
Mothers have always been appreciated in many ways over from the beginning of time. Music is another aspect of art that does not hold back in showing mothers how much they are loved and appreciated.
You can definitely relate more to these songs now that you are a mom too. Don’t worry, we won’t judge if you shed a tear or two (or more sob!). Click NEXT for those songs!
Mama by the Spice Girls
Have you seen the music video of this song? Heartwarming to see such successful women paying tributes to their moms! The lyrics really show how much they love their moms, and sheepishly apologize for the “bad” things they did when they were young. It is such a treat to have a glimpse into these women’s childhood and family life.
Hey there, Martha here, a full-time mom of two, currently trying to bring a small impact in everyone’s life whom I can reach through The Queen Momma. I usually write on topics related to parenting, pregnancy and motherhood. Having gone through a few rocky relationships myself, I consider myself somewhat of an “expert” on topics related to dating and relationships.
I formerly worked at Special Needs Network Inc and BrightStar Care of Beverly Hills as a head manager. I have a passion for assisting organizations and individuals in achieving their objectives and have had the opportunity to do so throughout my professional career. At present, writing for The Queen Momma is a great addition to my professional career.
So true, the lyrics of the songs sometimes help us to convey our feelings and sometimes depict our life and situations. A nice line up of songs you mentioned
Good list! Some that mean more to me are “Hey Jude” by the Beatles and “Baby Baby” by Amy Grant
